Our Fees
As we are a not-for-profit centre, we are able to keep our fees low. Fees are based on the hours/days the child is enrolled, not the hours that the child attends.
A Late fee of $25 may be charged for a child collected more than 5 minutes after their booking time

Fee Details
- Avonside Early Childhood Centre offers 20 hours Early Childhood Education for all tamariki aged 3-6 years, in line with Ministry of Education regulations and guidelines.
- Fees for hours not covered by 20 hours ECE are set by the Board of Trustees and reviewed annually.
- Extended absences of three weeks or more will usually incur a 100% holding fee. In special circumstances the Centre Manager and Finance Manager may offer a lesser rate if the child’s account is not in credit.
- Centre closure days over the Christmas/ New Year closure will not be charged.
- Public Holidays will incur a full fee.
- Two weeks’ notice in writing is required to be given to the Centre management before a child leaves the Centre. If notice is not given the Centre has the right to charge for two weeks after the final day.
- The Management team are able, at their discretion, to offset a family’s fees with Equity Funding or the Vulnerable Children’s Fund, if the child’s account is not in credit.
- Staff members with children enrolled at the centre are offered 50% off the hourly rate per child.
